  • Be Proactive – It’s about making sure the right people see your content.  Engage with your target audience and have a strategic plan.  Take the time to find and follow your targeted accounts.  Begin by liking their photos, leaving meaningful comments, and replying to their content with real live interactions.
  • Use up to 30 targeted #hashtags- Using #Hashtags is one of the most effective ways to get your content in front of the right eyes. But you should remember to change up your #hashtags on your posts and do not use the same ones for every single post you make.  Instagram and Facebook allow up to 30 and use 3 to 5 for your LinkedIn posts.  Here’s a FREE #hashtag tool you can use for finding the best ones for you:

  • Collaborate with colleagues, JV Partners and Like-Minded Entrepreneurs -You don’t have to go it alone.  Examples:  Team up with 2 or 3 Colleagues and hold an Instagram Live Mini Webinar.  Share the post to each other’s audience and gain traction and visibility. Hold a contest/raffle and give away a prize that would be valuable to your audience. Join a free giveaway and share an important freebie with all the visitors to the website.  Each contributor will be promoting the giveaway and getting opt ins for all the giveaway gifts.
  • Use Video-On Instagram Reels are definitely given preference and are getting more engagement.  Videos have been proven to get around 38% more engagements than photos.  And visitors will be more likely to stick around and maybe follow you, too. Supplementing your strategy with video content will get you in front of a much wider audience.
  • Be Consistent with Your Posting-When you set up your Social Media Strategy, make yourself a schedule and stick to it. Whether you can manage a post on certain Social Media outlets twice a week, or a couple times a day, get into a rhythm and know that consistently is necessary for the long-term. There are many schedulers you can try out.  Some are Free and some have paid plans that are affordable. A few examples are: Buffer.com, Plannthat.com, Dlvrit.com

I hope this simple information has you excited and thinking about all the ideas you can use to create your Social Media posts going forward.
