How to Create Effective and Better Headlines Starting Today

You should strive to lay out the key topic in the headline.  It gives the reader a very clear idea of what the blog post is about. If they are interested, they will click and be more likely to finish reading its contents.

The tool I use to help me come up with interesting, and clever headlines is by CoSchedule:

www.headlines.coschedule.com   You’ll need to create a free account to log into this program, but it will be well worth it.

Once you do that you can get a score for each headline you create and ideas to improve and change it to make it better and score higher.

Example:  Take a look at the title for this blog Post:  How to Create Effective and Better Headlines Starting Today.  It scores 74 for a headline.   And because I’m using the FREE account, I can’t get the SEO Score.  If you want to upgrade and pay, as of this writing, approximately $9 per month.  Some of you may think it’s worth it.

Here’s another example where the headline score is 90 and the SEO Score is 100
