7 Business Tips For 2022

Carlene Kelsey

These might not seem like business tips just glancing over the list, however, if you incorporate them into your business workday, you’ll see how they benefit your own health, as well as your business life.

  1. Drink more water.  Our bodies are made up of 60% water, yet most of us (up to 75%) are dehydrated! That’s not living healthy.  Drink more water to boost your mood, eliminate regularly and possibly even lose weight.
  2. Keep a gratitude journal.  There is something about writing down what you are grateful for.  Do this before bedtime and you may improve your sleep.
  3. Spend time outdoors. Take in 5 breaths of fresh outside air.  It’s good for the body and the mind.  Taking short walks outside in the winter months can relieve stress from your workday.
  4. Keep in touch with friends.  A really good conversation in person or on the phone can help lift your spirits and change everything about the day.
  5. Ask for help when you may be overwhelmed. Go out to dinner, let the restaurant staff cook for you.  Get a babysitter for a real “date night.” Or even get some help doing projects at work that you don’t want to do. It’s not a sign of weakness, it just makes good sense.
  6. Watch a funny movie. When you are feeling down, or having a sad moment, laughing can be a real pick-me-up. It’s even been proven to be good for your mental health by professionals.
  7. Drink more Green Tea. Some recent studies have shown that green tea can help reduce anxiety and enhance cognition and even your focus.

And it goes without saying that if you have challenges in your business and need to bounce off ideas, or get suggestions to move forward, get connected with folks that can help you such as a coach, virtual assistant, or a mastermind.
